The Roswell UFO incident

This incident of a supposed UFO crash in USA (one of several in the 1950s as well as in the Soviet Union) continues to make headlines. There are many people who helped with the debris removal who say that they saw three or more short beings with large heads. One was believed to be alive; small caskets were ordered for the others and there are reports of autopsies.
One observer later said he saw bodies in a timber crate in the corner of an Area 51 hangar.
Immediate reports by the USAir force stated the crash of a flying saucer, that was changed next day to a weather balloon crash and this was revised many years later to a crash of a secret balloon project called Mogul. Both weather balloons would not have been described as a saucer about 30 feet diameter. Mogul was a large high-altitude balloon of soft material with a string of antennas hanging below which wouldn't be described as 30 feet diameter.
However, US military have also said that the bodies reported were crash dummies for altitude survival tests. This would support the viewing of bodies in a timber crate - not a place anyone would put the first alien bodies found! However, a contradictory view is that crash dummies wouldn't need caskets, and why would so strict security and clear-up be needed for a balloon - other balloons fell to earth without fuss.
Descriptions of the craft say that it was large, possibly over 30 feet diameter, and recovered on a flatbed truck, but it wouldn't fit unless it was in bits!
It remains a mystery, but Ufologists are convinced that it was an alien craft crash, and several other similar crashes have been reported worldwide (Soviet Union, Mexico, etc.).
