Do nuclear explosions affect another dimension?

There is a theory that the reason UFOs and aliens have allegedly visited us in increasing numbers since we exploded nuclear bombs is that they affect other dimension(s) which have brought us to the attention of aliens. Perhaps they are concerned that we are being a nuisance to their environment from a distance as well as possibly risking our own extinction.
